Business Registration with the City of Woodstock is Now Live
Here is What You Need to Know
- Register your business with the City of Woodstock.
- All entities that conduct business in Woodstock must register (brick-and-mortar, home-based, mobile, nonprofit, etc.).
- There is no cost to register.
Key reasons for the implementation of business registration include:
1. Improved Communication - Business registration will provide up-to-date contact information for the City to enhance communication with business owners and alert them to activities which may affect businesses, such as road construction and special events.
2. Public Safety - In the event of an emergency or street shutdown, the City will be able to properly communicate via current addresses to those possibly affected.
3. Transition to Paperless - In an effort to increase efficiency and eliminate waste, the City’s registration, permitting and licensing registration system is transitioning to be entirely paperless. Businesses will be able to complete applications and check the status from the City of Woodstock's Online Services Portal.
4. Fuel Economic Development - Relevant information on businesses in the City will help fuel data-driven economic development.
